September 18 – 24, 2011 was Prostate Cancer Awareness Week. Calgary's Prostate Cancer Centre endeavoured to set a Guinness World Record™ by PSA blood testing 1,000 men over 40 for free, in an eight-hour period. Five of BKDI's team members lined-up to participate in this event on September 21 in an effort to support this worthy cause. The gents were numbers 471 through 475 out of the total 988 that took part in the challenge. After the tests were completed, each of the five BKDI men were given a pair of “Get Checked” boxer shorts.
