On July 7th, BKDI Director Bill Mitchell completed the Gran Fondo Highwood Pass Cycling Event, a 147 km ride through the backdrop of the Canadian Rockies. The ride kicked off in Longview, and continued along Highway 40 through the rolling foothills, over the Highwood Crossing, and into the heart of Kananaskis Country. Bill crossed the finish line at the Stoney Nakoda Casino with a time of 5 hours and 44 minutes. This was Bill’s longest ride to date, and he was pleased with the result as a training ride for the upcoming Ironman. He remarks that “the weather was terrific and it was a beautiful ride!” Congratulations Bill on your success!
