Helping Build a House in Mexico – Part II

Last updated 5 years ago

As some of our followers may have previously read, one of BKDI’s Contract Administrators, Jason Mantel, went to Tijuana, Mexico, from November 17 – 24, to lend a helping hand in building an addition to their existing house, for Lily and her three sons. Along with five other men from the Emmanuel Christian Reformed Church and help from local residents, Jason and the team completed construction in only four days! Jason explains, “The construction consisted of framing, painting, roofing, drywall, and electrical. Construction in a Developing World posed unique challenges such as site access, power requirements, and language barriers, all of which were overcome to complete the project early and under budget.” What a generous gift you have given to these individuals Jason!
