ArriVa is a mixed-use development that occupies an entire city block of land in Victoria Park and serves as the focal point of the redevelopment of this area of downtown Calgary. The project is comprised of 3 high-rise residential towers-one of 34 storeys and two of 43 storeys. Each tower is constructed of a pale green glass curtain wall. The first tower houses 200 condominium units. The towers are anchored by a two-storey brick and limestone podium base containing 54,000 ft2 of retail and commercial-use space on the east end and residential townhouse units on the west end. The centre portion of the 3.1 acre site features the adaptive reuse of two historic structures; a sandstone school, which will be transformed into an office building and a wood bungalow school, which will become a restaurant positioned within a lush urban garden.
