The Big Easy Hosts the Environments for Aging Conference
A group of BKDI employees who are interested in the design of Seniors Residences were fortunate to once again attend the Environments for Aging Conference in New Orleans. The Conference had many interesting sessions on new thinking around this sector and it is believed that there is a significant shift in how we need to be designing these residences in the future. In the upcoming weeks those who attended will prepare a brief presentation of these new ideas to share with the office over a noon hour.
In addition to the Conference, they were lucky to spend a little time surrounded by the amazing architecture of New Orleans, dine on some southern treats in the French Quarter, and take in the landscape of the Bayou at Honey Island.

BKDI Bids Marilee and Mary Ann Adieu
It is with heavy hearts that we share two members of our BKDI Family will be heading on new adventures of their lives. Marilee and Mary Ann had their going away lunch yesterday at Escoba with a few of their colleagues. We are indeed sad to see them both leave BKDI but wish them all the best in their new endeavors! Thank you Marilee and Mary Ann for all of your great work at BKDI! We will miss you both Mary / Mari S’!
